Description:
Infosecurity magazine's John Sterlicchi interviews George Adams of SSH Communications Security Inc. about today's breaches, the mandates for compliance, and how to secure data-in-transit.

In light of the well publicized security breaches, George Adams the President and CEO of SSH Communications Security Inc. talks to Infosecurity’s John Sterlicchi about the whys and hows of securing data-in-transit.

Even though there is growing awareness of the need for security, breaches are still practically an everyday occurrence. You only have to visit http://www.privacyrights.org/ for a running total and it is not pretty reading.

The site reports that the total number of records containing sensitive personal information involved in security breaches just in the U.S. since January 2005 was just short of 227 million.

In this interview George touches on how compliance is the order of the day for enterprises and how PCI DSS, especially, is mandating that any business with credit card transactions has massive security responsibilities.
